Angeles en el Camino

Angelo Romano believes in miracles: His paintings have provoked many of them. Angelo Romano believes in angels: He paints them and puts them up all over the city of New York. This is his way of humanizing the metropolis, of creating positive energy.
In Brazil, there exists the tradition of milagros (miracles), paintings that are made to avoid a tragedy, to cure one that already exists or to ask for a special miracle. Angelo's angels come from the same source: They are made to protect (Angelo gives away hundreds of tiny angels to people painted with the legend "thanks for protecting us"). Angelo's angels are made to protect, to brighten up that which is sad.
His angels are an act of magic more than decoration. They are as necessary as light, color and a sense of humor. They are like that guardian angel who, when we were children, we thought would always protect us.
It will be our privilege to take hundreds of these tiny angels with us on the Camino and place them along the way, wherever we see the need for brightness, love, hope, and positive energy. As well, we will hand them to whoever asks for one of Angelo’s Angels. We will help Angelo with his life’s purpose.

Ángelo Romano cree en milagros: Sus pinturas han provocado muchos de ellos. También cree en los ángeles: Los pinta y reparte en todos los rincones de la ciudad de Nueva York. Esta es su forma de humanizar la ciudad, de crear energía positiva.
En Brasil existe la tradición de los “milagros”, pinturas que se crean para evitar o curar una tragedia, o para pedir un milagro. Los ángeles de Ángelo proceden de la misma fuente: Se realizan para proteger (Ángelo ha regalado miles de estos pequeños ángeles para proteger y para alegrar tristeza en otros.

Más que decoración, sus ángeles son un acto de magia; son tan necesarios como la luz, el color y un buen sentido del humor, y tal vez representan al ángel de la guarda que, cuando éramos niños, pensamos que siempre nos protegería.

Será un privilegio poder llevar cientos de estos pequeños ángeles con nosotras al Camino y colocarlos donde veamos la necesidad de brillo, amor, esperanza y energía positiva. Además, los entregaremos a quienes nos pidan un ángel de Ángelo.
